Twitter has been insane since Hand and Roczen collided ending Rozen’s race in Tampa. Lappers be gone, we don’t need them in sport, what do they offer? Hand is about to be hung at the stake over this. As you can see from the attached tweets, some are saying there should only be 10-12 people in any given race. Being 10% slower means you should not be allowed to compete.
Could you imagine if a player was 10% worse than MJ or Lebron wouldn’t have been allowed to play? The NBA would have had like 3 teams of 3…. maybe.
Maybe we should punish the fast guys? Take away the factory suspension? They must race without a clutch lever. Maybe they have a joker lane to make the lap exactly the same as the “slow” guys. I’m just spit balling ideas here. If people think we need LESS people on the gate, I think we should just make the elite guys not elite. Why make 100 racers suffer just because 5 are amazing? Let take away that god given talent, hard ass work, and their competitive edge so everyone can get a trophy!
Or just shut the hell up, understand it is racing, and shit happens, and enjoy the best sport in the world!!
